I picked a bucket and a half of weeds today - the rain made everything grow! I am fighting off a mustard-like plant that spreads all over and of course dandelions and grass.
I seem to have Morning Glories that reseeded all over the garden - I let them just twine all over the ground last year - so maybe they will do that unasked this year! I didn't realize they would reseed in MN.
This year I am adding moonflowers and pink star morning glories to my front climbers. I'm debating about whether to add them to the perennial garden - apparently there are already quite a few there!
There is something magical about sitting out in the dirt after a rain just listening to birds. I love it.
